I recently got AT&T Fiber, and that gave me a connected Wi Fi band. This meant there wasnt anything I had to pick from. It wasnt until I tried to connect my Xbox 360 to Wi Fi that I realized it cant support a 5GHz network. I had to split the bands back, so now I have a 2.4GHz and a 5GHz option yet again. While my Xbox 360 has no choice in the matter, my TV has a choice between the two. Depending on where you keep your TV in relation to your router, you have a decision to make . Something
