I just wanted to store my files safely. I ended up opening a Pandora's box of complications. My Ugreen NAS device sits comfortably behind the living room TV, connected directly to the set and to a nearby router. It currently contains three hard drives, each with four terabytes of space.  The clock started ticking three years ago when I learned Drobo was going out of business . That name not ringing a bell?
